Kira's 1st Birthday Party
We had planned on celebrating this special occasion at Santa Monica Airport Park, but, thanks to the rain, we had to host the party at our house. It was cozy, but tons of fun!

Kira's 12-Month Appointment
This afternoon we took Kira to Dr. Raker for her twelve-month appointment. Kira weighed in at 18 pounds, 10 ounces (8th percentile) and measured 29.3 inches long (59th percentile). She also received her first Tuberculosis skin test and her fourth round of immunizations: pneumococcal (to protect against severe bacterial infections, ear infections, and meningitis), MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), and Hepatitis A.
