Kira's 10-Month Appointment
This morning I took Kira to Dr. Raker for her ten-month appointment. Kira and I were sad that Pres couldn't come because he was at the CAALA convention in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Dr. Raker was out ill, so we saw Dr. Grinberg. They pricked Kira's toe for blood to test iron and lead levels, and Kira also got the first part of her flu shot, which made me really miss Pres because he always calms her down after shots. Kira weighed in at 17 pounds, 10.5 ounces (18th percentile) and measured 28.5 inches long (68th percentile).
